My name is Maddie Stevens, a D1 Track and Field athlete at NJIT. In addition to athletics, I’m an aspiring Physician Assistant and am currently studying Biology. Next year, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Biology of Health at NJIT to complete my track career on a high note! Last year, I completely torn my labrum and ran my entire outdoor season on it. To recovery fully, I got a hip arthroscopy, which forced me to redshirt my entire senior year of athletics. However, I started vlogging to record my progress, often posting on TikTok in hopes to inspire myself and others. Despite not running and competing, I try to fill my time with other productive outputs! I joined three new clubs to strengthen my PA application, became a PT-aide for the same PT I receive rehab from, and produce positive social media viewings in hopes of making someone smile.
