Biography
Hello my name is Makai Mitchell! Born and raised here in Fort Collins, Colorado is where I first started my hockey journey! I started off at NCYH where i then played AAA hockey for the U14 and U16 Roughriders where I was drafted in the USHL and listed in the WHL. I continued my hockey career in the Canada playing for the Regina Pats when I was 16! Moving away from home was a big step but it was one of the best decisions i’ve ever made! I finished my junior career off playing for the Minnesota Wilderness where I unfortunately suffered an MCL tear and partial ACL tear! I decided it was time to go to college and pursue a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biomedical Sciences. I thought that i was going to be able to play hockey at the club level but unfortunately there was a rule in place prohibiting me to play. The rule has no since been changed and this is the first year I can play hockey again! I can not wait to showcase my s
