October of 2020 I had open heart surgery that put my softball career in jeopardy. I had a rare infection called granulicatella adiacens. Thanks to the man above, I am pursuing my dream and playing softball and furthering my education to one day become a special Ed teacher. I will need another procedure to replace my aortic valve in 5-8 years but as of right now, I am healthy and able to do anything with no serious restrictions!
