Hi, I’m Malcolm, a Graduate Student on the Track and Field Team at UC Irvine where I have been the Team Captain for the past two years. I am an All Big West Athlete in the the 200m and 4x400m relay. I also run the 4x100m relay and 400m. I’m currently studying novel combustion techniques for renewables fuels as I work towards my Master’s, and eventually my Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. I’m super excited to be researching sustainable combustion technologies so I can help mitigate climate change. In my free time I love hiking, skiing, exploring new places, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. I’m through and through an Irvine native - born, raised, and now attend college in the city, so I know everything there is to know about Irvine and the surrounding area. I also contribute to two local charities, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Surfrider Foundation, whenever I can. I hope you learned a bit about me.
