About
Biography
I have been competing since 2011 at 11 years old starting with Junior Nationals. I have given adaptive sports presentations to children and their families at the Children's Hemiplegia and Stroke Association family retreats and many of those kids are now active athletes in para sports competing at a national level. I have also served as a mentor to those kids and done impromptu throwing clinics at events. I want to continue to advocate for young people to explore and participate in adaptive sports because I see so much benefit in it. I have continued my advocacy by assisting the push to add adaptive track to the Michigan HS sports association, presenting at the AACPDM Conference and mentoring young athletes. I have participated in international level competition since 2016 when I received my IPC license. I was a medalist at the World CP Games in 2018 and at US Trials in 2017, 2021 & 2022.
