My name is Mario Merenda and I’m currently attending OU for a degree in meteorology. When I first came here as a freshmen I was already working with OU eSports to start a racing program. Now it’s the first official iRacing program in the nation. I’ve been around racing since I was a baby and started racing when I was 15. I bought my first sim rig and then a year later bought my first race kart. From there I’ve gained multiple championships and accolades both in eSports and real life racingq. It’s been such a journey and I’m still advancing hoping to do bigger and better things.
