Biography
My name is Marisa Davis-Jones and I’m a power forward for the women’s basketball team at San Jose State University! I transferred from the university of Washington (Seattle). I graduated from valley vista high school in surprise Arizona. While attending valley vista I was able to accomplish 3 state championships and I was named Arizona Gatorade player of the year. I was a honors student who took AP and honors classes throughout my high school academic career. Here at San Jose state university I am majoring in international business, in hopes to start my own! I have been placed in the leadership/ captain role since I was on my 8th grade middle team. And during my free time I try to get community service hours in, some things that I have recently done would be going to elementary schools and mentoring the girls and boys! I’ve also helped purchase clothing for students who don’t have the funds to purchase their essentials for school.
