Hey every, my name is Marquis Waters also known as “Mud” or “Muddy” and I’m a Defensive Back for Texas Tech University football team. I’m a graduate student at Texas Tech and i’m studying Interdisciplinary Studies. During my undergraduate years I majored in Sociology with a minor in Education, and a Certificate in Markets and Management Studies from Duke University. One of the clubs i’m associated with at Texas Tech is the Black Student Athlete Alliance in which we connect with multiple sports and athletes across the country as well as take trips for events. During my free time I like to play Spades, Bowl, and watch Sports.
