Hey, I’m Mason Zadina. I was born and raised right here in Omaha, NE, and now I get to represent my childhood team as a Maverick — which is honestly a dream come true. I didn’t start swimming until my freshman year of high school, but I got hooked pretty fast. I love the grind, the challenges, and the rewards that come with the sport. After practice, recovery is super important to me — I usually go for a protein-packed snack or meal and make sure I’m doing everything I can to keep improving. Outside the pool, I’m into all kinds of stuff — lifting weights, getting outside, and playing video games. Growing up in Nebraska, I’m used to the wild weather, so I’m always trying to find a comfy, athletic fit that works with whatever season we’re in.
