Matt Tingley of Rochester Hills, Michigan began handcycling after a motocross accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury in summer of 2017. He has won multiple Paracycling National Championship titles in the Mens H4 class and has represented Team USA at UCI Paracycling Road World Cups since 2023 and was the anchor for the handcycle relay winning team at 2024 UCI Paracycling Road World Cup III in Maniago, IT. Matt currently resides and trains full time at the Colorado Springs Olympic and Paralympic Training Center.
