Currently, Matt Katz is a senior mechanical engineering student at South Dakota State University. Matt is also on the Mens Track and Field team where he competes in the Pole Vault. After his senior season, he will go on to a masters program for engineering, while still competing for the track team. Matt has a great passion for track, it is his favorite part of the day every time he gets to go see his teammates and practice. When he is not on the track, he enjoys making meals, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
