My name is Matt Perello. I am a Junior at Bucknell University studying Economics and Physics. I am Captain of the Men’s Track and Field team and I specialize in the 100m and 200m. I have been a crucial part of my team as I have participated in the Patriot League Championship since the Spring of 2021. Towards the end of my first year at Bucknell, I joined Army ROTC. I am extremely grateful and honored to be a part of the Bucknell Bison Battalion. During my first semester Sophomore year, I applied and received a Two-Year Full Tuition Scholarship. I also was sworn in as a contracted Cadet of the United States Army ROTC program. I became certified as a Master Fitness Trainer after successfully completing the MFT course in Fort Benning, GA where enlisted soldiers and Cadets learn the importance of how to maintain and improve mental and physical fitness as well as nutrition. I hope to use these skills I learn at MFT to better myself, my teammates, and others.
