Max Heid, a 5th-year powerhouse from the University of Washington’s nationally-ranked men’s rowing team, embodies the spirit of dedication, perseverance, and excellence. Holding a coveted spot in UW’s top varsity boat for two consecutive years, Max proudly stands as the sole American in the national 2nd place top boat for the past year. His rowing prowess has earned him All-Team PAC 12 honors, the Top Academic accolade, and the esteemed title of the 2021 National Champion. But his journey doesn’t end on the water. As the entertainment world buzzes with anticipation for the upcoming release of "Boys in the Boat" – a cinematic adaptation of the iconic book, collaborated closely with the likes of George Clooney – Max's unique position as a Seattle native and a top American rowing athlete makes him the face and voice of the UW team in this monumental phase.
