Hey there! I am a Freshman cross country and track athlete at TCU! My hometown is Georgetown, Tx (in the Austin Area). I am majoring in writing and graphic design which was a huge leap out of my comfort zone, but I am excited to explore the opportunities of these fields. My dream is to work as a creative director for a running or outdoors company or magazine (or start my own)! I fell in love with running after years as a soccer player. But throughout four highly competitive high school years, I was drowning in my own mental health struggles that I continue to overcome. I hope to share my story- fighting ocd, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and an eating disorder. I am coming out the other side, but it is not easy. Beyond my athletic and academic pursuits, I am a very quirky individual. I have a slight obsession with plants, coffee, books, hiking, folk/ indie rock music, yoga, sushi, and sparkling water!
