As my family has been in the business industry, I have slowly come to understand how it works and the skills needed to maintain and build the business. The critical aspect of creating a business is marketing. Marketing allows people, not just locals, to know and become interested in your business or the message you are trying to convey. With this, my love for business made my decision of what I want to major in easy. Not only will I become educated and a member of the business community, but I can also incorporate basketball within the realm of the business world. As these concepts go hand in hand, starting with being an ambassador will fulfill my love for business and basketball. Also, with business comes understanding people and learning to deal with different personalities and interests. Marketing comes with understanding the audience you are trying to appeal to.
