Mia Pickering is a striker on the women’s soccer team at Utah State Eastern, recognized for her discipline, perseverance, and dedication to the sport she loves. Overcoming two ACL tears and other challenges, Mia has demonstrated incredible resilience and determination, consistently working hard both on and off the field to achieve her goals. In high school, Mia excelled academically, making the high honor roll every term, and athletically, earning Second Team All-Region honors during her senior year. She is the second oldest of five siblings, has a beloved dog named Indie, and is supported by her three loving parents, Hugh, Jess, and Annie. Beyond soccer, Mia loves listening to all kinds music, exploring all things outdoors and in nature, and expressing herself through art. Her strong work ethic and passion for growth extend into every aspect of her life, making her a motivated and well-rounded individual ready to embrace new challenges and adventures.
