My name is Mia Thompson. I am currently a Junior at the University of Akron. I was DS/Libero from the California University of Pennsylvania (Dll) for 2 years of my career. At CalU, I have maintained a 3.9 GPA throughout my semesters as a Business Management major. My head coach also elected me to join the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee where I was elected as Vice President. I was the captain of my high school team for my senior year plus a four-year varsity player. I went to Delaware Hayes High School and was involved in Global Scholars and National Honors Society. I received 2nd team all-conference my senior year and OCC honorable mention my junior year for volleyball. In this past year at Akron, I received a 4.0 GPA and was on the presidents list for the University.
