Biography
Michelle Atherley, Is a first generation American who found her passion in sports at an early age. Michelle settled into track and field her sophomore year of high school, eventually earning an athletic scholarship to Auburn University for track and field. Transferring to the University of Miami after her freshman year, she went on to graduate with a degree in political science and completed a double masters in Public Administration and International Public Administration. Michelle is a National Champion in the pentathlon, a 7 time All American, and an indoor and outdoor ACC Champion. Michelle is an avid member of the Miami community founding the University of Miami's Black Student Athlete Alliance, an organization that supports and services black student athletes. She also co-runs the Coconut Grove Run Club, bringing the people of south Miami together through the sport of running. Michelle in currently a professional athlete representing the USA, aiming for the 2028 LA Olympics.
