Hi, I’m Moustafa Abdelaal, Incoming student-athlete and record-holding sprinter specializing in the 400m and 800m, soon to compete at the collegiate level for NJIT. In just two years of track, I’ve been named All-Conference and All-Division First Team, and I currently hold my school’s records in the SMR, 4x200, and 4x400 — for both indoor and outdoor seasons. I’ve competed at the national level and am eager to bring my speed, work ethic, and competitive mindset to the Highlanders. Off the track, I’m in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), preparing for mechanical engineering. The program is helping me build a strong academic foundation while fostering leadership, discipline, and resilience — qualities I also carry into competition. Whether I’m anchoring a relay or tackling a rigorous course load, I strive to represent NJIT with pride, perseverance, and teamwork.
