My name is Nathan Rawlins-Kibonge. I'm from portland oregon. I went to Jefferson high school were i recieved not only my education but my athletic start. At Jefferson i earned division 1 power 5 scholarships for both basketball and football. On top of that I also finished high school as one of the top academic students earning my self a 4.0. However, Despite my individual achievements ive struggled with goes on in my home town. Since graduation I've lost 6-8 people from gun violence. No matter how positive i can be personally, i want to be able to give my town and my home so much more. Which is part of my motivation to succeed, i know one day i'm gonna have the tools to make a real difference in my city. Until then my plan is to work my hardest not just in sports but away from spots so that i can one day give back to the place I love so much.
