Hello, my name is Jicel Fernandez Ramirez. I am a student-athlete, Division I, cross country and track athlete. I am currently majoring in American Studies but I also aspire to become a preschool/elementary teacher. I currently work as a preschool teacher aide for ASI children’s center on campus. I am a daughter of a mother who immigrated from Mexico and a father who immigrated from El Salvador. I also am a younger sister of my two older brothers, Alejandro and Jose Jr. Outside of sports, I love to hang out with my family and friends. I also love to cook new foods that I see on TikTok, listening to music, journaling, and thrifting for some new clothes.
