Nicholas McAdam is a dedicated and accomplished athlete on the Princeton University Men's Heavyweight Rowing Team. Hailing from South Africa, he is a D1 recruited athlete and a valuable addition to the Class of 2025. Before Princeton, Nicholas trained and competed with his home country's national rowing team, honing his skills and understanding of teamwork and discipline. At Princeton, Nicholas faced a major setback when he was hit by a car while cycling, resulting in a serious head injury and shoulder surgery. Despite this, he made a remarkable recovery, returning to race last season with an undefeated regular season and placing second at both the national championship and the Henley Royal Regatta. Beyond rowing, Nicholas is deeply involved in outreach programs and sustainability initiatives, reflecting his passion for positively impacting his community and preserving the environment for future generations.
