Hi everyone my name is Nicholas Stacey but most people call me Nick or Stacey for short. I’m a student-athlete for the University of the Cumberlands. I’m an education major with emphasis in special education and mathematics. I play football and I am an inside linebacker. My hobbies include video games, hanging with family, and also playing pickup soccer with friends on the side. I also enjoy working out and training young student-athletes on the side. My backstory includes a lot of adversity throughout my personal life. I was born with a cleft lip and pallet and from a young age was having surgeries left and right to fix those issues. I was told I could never play football because my surgeries would interfere with the seasons. I was able to recover fast and stronger then before and made myself able to play through those hardships. I didn’t allow the adversity to control my life. I hope to coach and instill those same values in my athletes in the future.
