Nick Baumgartner is the US Olympic Team's answer to the Rad Dad! An Iron River, MI native, this "UPPER" is a proud Upper Peninsula native. Father to Landon, Nick won GOLD at 40 yrs old in Tokyo in the mixed Snowboardcross (SBX) event, his 4th Olympic Games as a member of the US Ski & Snowboard Team. Nick is also a GOLD and SILVER Winter X Games medalist. In the off season, Nick is a professional concrete pourer, working in construction in both Michigan and Aspen. An outdoorsman to the core, Nick can be found trail running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding , rock climbing and more ... His book Iron to Gold, The Nick Baumgartner Story, comes out Jan 2024.
