Hello! My name is Nico Colchico, and I run track for the Indiana Hoosiers. I am currently studying sports management and my dream is to eventually become an Athletic Director at a power 5 University. I love sports, spending time with friends and family, fashion, and anything outdoors. I hope that I can use my status as a D1 athlete to continue to inspire the youth in my community back home in Long Beach, California and I intend to be in the position to be able to give back to that community when I am older. Here at IU, I am on the middle-distance squad, meaning I run any event from the 400m to the mile. I had a successful high school career, winning the boys CIF-D1 1600m my senior year as well as placing 3rd in the 4x400m relay at the state meet. I plan on continuing to improve throughout my time as a Hoosier, hoping to score points for my team at conference meets and eventually compete at the NCAA meet one day.
