My name is Nisani, and I’m a college basketball player from Belize. Growing up in a small country, I always dreamed about taking basketball further and seeing where it could take me. Coming to the United States to play college basketball has been a big part of my journey. It has allowed me to grow as a player, experience new things, meet different people, and continue working toward my goals both on and off the court. Basketball is a huge part of my life, but it’s definitely not the only thing I enjoy. I’m a pretty laid-back person who loves being outdoors, exploring new places, and taking pictures. I enjoy photography because I like capturing moments and having something to look back on. I also really love snacks, so if I’m not on the court, there’s a good chance I’m somewhere enjoying some food. My journey from Belize to college basketball has taught me to appreciate where I come from while staying open to new opportunities. I’m excited to keep growing, making memories
