I am a student athlete for Sewanee The University of the South on the cheer team. I am a current sophomore majoring in Politics and English. I am the secretary for the Hispanic Organization for Latino Awareness and an active member of my schools Social Justice Initiative. Since I was young, I have traveled world wide having been born and raised in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and am fluent in both English and Spanish. I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus while in highschool and would like to help raise awareness for the autoimmune disorder in particular amongst athletes as many people are unsure of what that may look like.
