My name is Maksim Kalina and I’m a first-year student-athlete at the University of Rhode Island, playing soccer at the collegiate level. I come from a first generation family that moved from Europe to North America, and that experience has shaped my drive, adaptability, and determination to succeed both on and off the field. Growing up soccer has taught me discipline, teamwork, and leadership, and I’m passionate about using those skills to grow as a player and as a person. Beyond athletics, I’m deeply interested in building a personal brand and creating meaningful connections with people and organizations. I look forward to collaborating on projects, sharing my journey, and engaging with communities that align with my values. I aim to represent integrity, hard work, and ambition while exploring opportunities that allow me to inspire others, learn from new experiences, and leave a positive impact wherever I go.
