INSPIRATION He is training to compete at the Paralympic Winter Games to honour the memory of his twin brother Lucas 'Sven' Halgren, who died in a motorcycle crash near Mount Cook, New Zealand, in December 2016. Lucas had encouraged him to take up Para skiing following his accident and the pair had spent the 2016 winter season working together fitting chains and directing car park traffic at The Remarkables ski resort in Queenstown, New Zealand. "It'd be cool if I could show him that all the hard work paid off, do it for Sven, you know. He was my biggest advocate, my biggest fan."
