Biography
My name is Pedro da Rocha Borin, I am an international student majoring in Biology with aminor, I was born in Joinville, Brazil where I built my swimming skills, and sports gave me several opportunities already. One of them was to live in Sao Paulo in 2018 where I stayed until I go the USA. The sport has been present in my life since I’m 5 years old. Consequently, I learned how to manage time, focus, and become an achiever. The goal that I established myself to achieve back in 2017 was to get into an Olympian program in a big club, so I had the opportunity to practice with the coach considered the best Brazilian coach in 2020, and Olympian athletes. In the middle of the pandemic, I changed my goal to learn a new language and study in the USA, so here I'm! 2021-22 - Became first Men's Augustana swimmer to compete at the NCAA Division II Championships. Won the 200-fly at the GLIAC Championships with time of 1:47.79.
