Andre Johnson Jr., who was a highly touted prospect in high school but faced rescinded offers after being out his senior season due to ligament tears in his left arm and a stomach infection known as C-diff. Even after facing this he was determined to continue playing the sport he’s always loved. Andre earned a roster spot his freshman year at the University of Connecticut and is only getting started. Johnson tore ligaments in his left forearm at the outset of his senior season at South Kent, where he played under former UConn associate head coach Raphael Chillious.
