I’m a beach volleyball athlete at Grand Canyon University, but I’m from San Antonio, Texas. Growing up playing volleyball allowed me to encounter with many trials through mental health and injury, but my faith in God gave me the strength to persevere during them. I’ve always loved the true discipleship that comes with charity work and being selfless for my community. I love working in the nursery with the children during services and recently had a heart filling visit to the Ronald McDonald house in Jacksonville, Florida. Being able to talk with these kids was very impactful with hearing their different testimonies and hardships they’re facing at such a young age. Faith has always been what carried me through trials, such as tearing my ACL, so being able to share that hope with these kids was very special. Not only to see their heart stance on their situation, but how they’re still so full of life and love for what they have. Tearing my ACL made me overall stronger in my faith and game
