I’m going to be an Architect after I graduated from the University of Houston. I’m inspired to become one because only 2% of architects are black in the United States. I want to change to demographics and prove you can become what you want in life if you just go for it. Currently I run track for the Houston Cougars, while managing my work as an architecture major. Which is definitely no easy task but i manage because I’m determined to make them both work. I’ve had people tell me it is possible, but look at me now about to finish my first year of college as an student-athlete in my major. I believe this shows how dedicated I am and how I won’t let anything stop me from reaching my goals!
