Hello! My name is Riley Harding, and I am a student-athlete at Ithaca College where I swim and study exercise science so I can learn how to improve human performance. I swim breast & IM primarily, and my favorite event is the 200 breaststroke. Outside of the pool, I am an avid reader and writer. I enjoy painting in my spare time. While doing these activities, you can almost always catch me with a coffee in hand. As a student-athlete, I know how strenuous practicing and competing can be while also trying to manage the academic workload. It can also be difficult to find time to socialize with friends as well as make time for yourself and your own hobbies. I use my creative outlets, like writing and painting, to express myself and to balance out my athletic interests in both swimming and exercise science. My personal philosophy is to do the things that make you feel more like yourself, so I am always trying to do things that will make me feel more like myself and who I want to be.
