Hello, my name is Riley Vandaveer and I am a distance runner at Wichita State University specializing in the 800, 1500 and mile events. I am an Electrical Engineering major, minoring in Homeland Security with dreams of working for the Department of Defense in a research and Development lab. I enjoy being outdoors doing all sorts of activities from camping to playing disk golf. I am a big reader specifically in the classics. I also enjoy building Lego sets and puzzles, playing the Trombone and listening to musical theater and Marvel film scores. I have a family of 6 including me and my dog Scout, with two sisters! I am a practicing Catholic, and I definitely practice at it everyday! I am hard working, determined, and a teachable runner. I am proud to be a Wichita State Shocker! Go Shocks!🌾
