Hey there! I’m Roxane Thomas, or Roxy for short! I am currently on the UCI Women’s Track+Field and Cross Country team, specializing in the 5k. At UCI, I am majoring in Public Health Sciences, with the career goal of entering the medical field and working closely with patients and communities. Helping people is something I greatly enjoy. I’ve worked with different programs, notably the African Library Project, to provide various type of service to others. I continue to do so in the STEM environment at UCI, as I’m a certified Learning Assistant working in the general chemistry labs. When I’m not studying, working, or running, I love to discover new beautiful places to sit, relax, take in, and enjoy! I love to read, especially fictional romance novels, listen to new music, and spend time with my friends and family (usually via phone because they live in France!). I strive to positively impact everyone I come across, and I am constantly looking to challenge and improve myself!
