About
Biography
Ruby was born in Sydney, Australia, to an American mother and Italian-born father who later became a U.S. citizen. Her love for water began in her early years in Australia, sharing weekly pool outings with her dad. At age five, after watching a synchronized swimming meet at her YMCA in Andover, Massachusetts, she was instantly captivated, starting her journey in the sport. Ruby trained with the ANA YMCA club, winning multiple titles under coaches like Svetlana Malinovskaya and Leah Pinnate. Her dedication led her to join the National Junior Team in 2014 and, in 2018, she became the youngest member of the Senior National Team. Balancing academics with athletics, Ruby excelled at Laurel Springs Academy and later at Ohio State University, where she was named 2023 U.S. Collegiate Championship High Point Athlete of the Year. In 2023, she rejoined the Senior National Team to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she and her team won a silver medal. Ruby remains a humble, driven athlet
