I am a fifth-year senior at Augustana University, having graduated with a major in exercise science. Currently, I am completing a master's in sports administration and leadership, with plans to become a physical therapist. I have earned six All-American honors and helped secure a National podium finish for our cross-country team at the NCAA DII level, with still another year left of competition. Succeeding in distance running required me to structure a schedule, motivate myself daily, and strengthen bonds with teammates. After growing up playing many sports, I found success in distance running and developed a true passion for it. This passion, combined with my educational background, drives my interest in proper fueling and recovery strategies. When not running or studying, I give campus tours to prospective students and work as a teaching assistant in the biology department. These roles allow me to give back to the university while interacting with a diverse range of students.
