I am a student at the University of Iowa studying Human physiology on the pre-physical therapy track. I am also pursuing a minor in psychology and an entrepreneurial management certificate. Within athletics, I was a member of the Iowa Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during my Junior year and became the chair of the health and well-being sub-committee during my second year. Also in my junior year at Iowa, I founded my own business, Urban Wave Embroidery, after seeing that there was a need for small-batch custom embroidery. Since launching I have competed in the Iowa Innovation Challenge and placed 2nd in the best retail business category and received funding to help grow my business.
