As a student-athlete at Philander Smith University, I strive to do my best in and out of athletic competitions. As a dual-degree major in chemistry and chemical engineering, I continue to maintain a 4.0 GPA while competing in cross country and track/field throughout the school year. My primary roles at Philander are the following: thrower, mid-distance runner, and long distance runner. I'm from Church Point, Louisiana, but graduated from Benjamin O. Davis Jr. High School in Houston, Texas. I've been involved and competed in swimming, practiced boxing, and ran track my senior year of high school.
