Biography
My name is Sammy and I am an Olympian in the sport of modern pentathlon! My sport consists of fencing, swimming, equestrian, running, and shooting. I am a seven time US National champion and was an alternate for the 2016 Olympic team. I was born and raised in Colorado and love the outdoors and staying active. I am also in the US Army and compete as a part of the World Class Athlete Program. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from DeVry University. I teach pilates and am a certified personal trainer teaching in Colorado Springs and online as well. I have had to overcome a lot of injuries over my time as an athlete and hope to be able to help others prevent injuries and live pain free. I also love to speak to groups about my story and persevering through struggles. Life is a journey and being able to help support one another in our goals and passions is so important!
