I am an international student from Johannesburg South Africa experiencing America for the first time as I peruse higher education while being a student athlete. Experiencing and adapting to a new culture while learning many other with Wingate’s high percentage of international students has been amazing and eye opening to seeing a greater part of the world I live in. I am studying Strategic Communication because it involves applying principles of persuasion, working with various platform/media formats, adapt messages to different audiences, and evaluate communication events, altogether organization and structure which is something I feel strong about and believe is a key aspect of any company’s foundation. Additionally I have a degree in social media marketing which is something all businesses need living in this generation.
