My name is Sam Runyan. I am a runner from East Tennessee and enjoy spending time in the mountains, reading, and enjoying good coffee with friends. When I am not in the thick of cross country season with Walter State, I am a trail/ultra runner. I have worked with many brands in the past such as Patagonia, Smartwool, Swiftwick, Speedland, Naked Sports Innovations, and many others. The grandest project I have been able to compete is two Tour de LeContes - a route that traverses every trail to Mt. LeConte in one go. I became the youngest finisher of the LeConte Challenge when I was fifteen.
