In my first year of college, I’ve embarked upon the opportunity to learn about the different cells and genetic composition of plants animals and bacteria as a Biochemistry Pre-Med major. I found out that Biochemistry wasn’t for me and I decided to change my major to Kinesiology, to learn more about the intricacies of body movements and well being. I have maintained a 3.2 GPA. I aspire to graduate at the top of my class and excel beyond what I am capable of. During my first year of college, I have been given the opportunity to find my love for hair braiding. Because of this love, I am starting a natural hair business so I can continue to learn and teach others to love their hair. Community service has become a big part of who I am. I’ve volunteered in food shelters, donation centers, and every Christmas, I make it a tradition to donate coats and toys to children in need. These commitments to giving back to my community stem from a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others.
