Sarah Newberry Moore, OLY is an American driver in the sport of sailing. This role requires steering precision, finesse, strategy, quick thinking, and tactical decision-making. She is one of small number of female helms in the World in her Olympic class. Established as one of the best female drivers in US high performance sailing history, Sarah has been the first woman to claim more than 6 different National and Continental Titles. After having her first child in 2021, Sarah went on to represent the USA in the 2024 Olympics. She has given a voice to athlete moms through the podcast WISP Sports, Mum’s the Word, which can be found on Spotify/Apple Podcasts, and is aiming for her second Olympic Games in LA 2028. In June 2025 Sarah gave birth to her second baby. Sarah was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She currently resides in a home on the Miami River that she shares with her husband, their sons Iren + Rocky, and 2 friendly cats.
