Hello! I’m a senior track & field athlete at Minnesota State University Mankato, specializing in the throws like discus and hammer throw. I am also a Microbiology major and a Chemistry minor in a pre-medical path to become a doctor. Because of my passion for helping people and getting them to their best selves, I serve as a MavPASS leader for Human Anatomy where I help students learn by creating lesson plans and getting them to collaborate with each other to learn. Outside of school and sports, I’m involved in organizations such as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serving as the Student Relations Coordinator, Black Motivated Women serving as the Treasurer, Mavs in Action where I get to volunteer at nursing homes, and the African Student Association. For my free time (if I have any after my other responsibilities and extracurriculars, that is), I love to play pickleball, travel, hang out with family and friends, and simply romanticize life!
