I am a transfer Senior, but I have two more years of eligibility on the court. My route to a Division I program was quite unorthodox. I started out at an NAIA Div. II in North Dakota as a Freshmen, transferred my Sophomore year to Ranger Junior College and redshirted. I received my AA degree, and Co-Vid and lack of film hindered me playing at a higher level, so I walked on at Concordia Austin a Div. III program, and now have the opportunity to play at Tarleton State as a walk-on. All my life, I have had to battle as an underdog and accept walk-on opportunities my entire college career. I've come to realization that I may not be a coaches first choice, but I'm their best choice.
