Hi, my name is Shad Cano. I am a freshman wrestler at Minnesota state university-Moorhead. I was born and raised in Dallas Texas, and graduated from First Baptist Academy. I was not raised in a wrestling home or go to a wrestling school, but I worked hard and continue to work hard everyday in order to achieve the goals I have set before myself. I graduated as a 2x Tapps State Champion becoming the first wrestler from my school to wrestle at the national level. I train out of Fortis MMA in Dallas Texas. In school, just as in life, I always strive to lead by serving others, running wrestling camps and showing up early to school to coach our middle school wrestlers. I I’m am an avid reader, always wanting to learn and grow from other peoples knowledge and experiences. I am a goal oriented person, with one of my biggest goals being to be able to give back to my family and my community.
