Biography
Commissioned in as a Second Lieutenant in 1996 as an engineer officer in the U.S. Army. Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the war in Afghanistan. After being injured in 2007, a trip to a local bike shop and exposure to competitive cycling at the 2010 Warrior Games helped her begin cycling. She broke the women’s C4 pursuit world record at the 2016 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships. She continued that success at the Paralympic Games Rio 2016 where she became a two-time gold.
