My name is Skyler Gill and I play women’s basketball for the University of Oregon. I’m originally from Wichita, Kansas, although I moved to Savannah, Tennessee during my freshman year of high school. I started my collegiate career at the University of North Alabama where I am a record holder for most blocks in a game, most blocks in a season, and most blocks in a career. I obtained freshman of the year, defensive player of the year, and second team all conference my first year playing. The next year, I was recognized for pre-season watch list awards such as the Becky Hammon award and the Cheryl Miller award. I then went on to receive another defensive player of the year award for the ASUN conference as well as second team all conference.
